Am i a live coder?
there has been some speculation, mainly (exclusively) by me, that I might not be a live coder.
Lets answer that once and for all.
what is live coding?
well no one is really sure which makes it a tricky question.
do i perform at live coding events?
regularly, although it has to be said that most of these are vanity events which I organise under the pretext of helping others purely so I can perform. I’ve been booked three? times to perform as a live coder(ish), but never for an offical algorave that I wasn’t involved in. I might perform at one on friday, but will let others go first.
well that would hint at me being an egomaniac/legitimate live coder.
do i write live code live?
i’ve done from-scratch sets but mostly rehash recent home jams on stage.
i use Syntə which is(n’t) a live coding language
so which is it?
well, really its more of a text/very based digital modular system.
and modular synths are analog computers.
so its a digital analog computer system which can be changed live?
but your music sounds too nice and also you aren’t really a proper musician.
i guess people are hard to please
